I had one in my Big Block Chevy 540 nitrous motor running high 8's. ran real well. never broke it and I hit it with 400 off the line in a 3600lbs car. I don't know how there lock ups will be time will tell.

Would this work good in my 99 formula? Its a summer daily so I don't want anything too crazy.

Only mod is a lid as of now, would like to do some minor bolt-ons, tires, tune, and MAYBE like a 100shot of nitrous WAYY down the line, as in next year or something.

Right now I'm just looking for a little more fun in the daily commute and more umph! I hear with a stall, tune and tires, you can knock over half a second off in the quarter. I've never raced my car but I would think that would get me in the 12's for sure.

Thanks

I thought that Midwest/Circle D/Yank/Vig were all about on the same level in terms of performance/reliability etc?

Never heard of edge, will look into them.

Thanks

That has nothing to do with my point. You said the others are worth the money... I'm not happy with spending extra money for something because people have jumped on the bandwagon. There are other good converter companies out there besides the ones that are pushed on this board.

I would look into FTI but then again i am a little biased. For the utmost in performance giveus a call. Certantly not the cheapest but definately the one of the best.

I agree with you on that one. Seems sometimes the popular street converter companies and the race converter companies arent always the same.

If a Converter holds up to doing 200mph in the 1/4 then I think it should be considered a good converter!
