That converter in the picture is a spaceship converter. It has a stock 12" front and a stock 9" pump joined with an adapter, and some ingenius idea of a billet plate on the front to cover up the stock core.

I'll spend more with a company who shows pictures in their first introduction post rather than someone who can't even provide them when requested.

Thats clever legal advertising listing a billet front "plate".
You can't list a billet front cover because these are made from stock cores.
The one in the picture was a custom 2800 stall I ordered.
I now have a 3200 stall. Once the car is tuned I'll post my results

I heard it didn't fit right. They said you had a 4L65E or something and had to redo it. Was that you?

Did you even see the converter? Did it have a billet front or stock type forged?

LOL, I didn't realize my car was famous.

I saw the new one before it was put in. It looked like every other billet converter I've seen.

I was being stubborn when I ordered the first one and got a 2800 stall when everyone told me not to. I decided to get a 3200 this time after speaking with a few people.

Car gets tuned on the 12th. I'll post my review when the car is done

the converter pictured was the first one we ever speced out, it is not the final converter, the final converter is inside purple t/a's car, it does not have a stock pump or anything like that. i will put up pictures when we have another one. we have none on the shelves right now

no, we have answered that before in other threads about this converter, we have them made to our specs, specs that we have found LS1 guys want.

The front is bigger than the pump. One half is bigger than the other half.
This is well known to not be the best design, it goes way back to before billet fronts were made and no one could figure out how to get a big clutch into a small converter.

Just asking since no one has any other pictures of this new converter lineup.

It also looks like a TCS converter.

Go with an FTI.
Call both FTI and this place, it will be obvious.

As someone with an FTI I agree, why bother with this product that many are questioning as sub-standard when you can get a proven product for the same price.

FTI sells a quality product. We just happen to offer a quality converter as well at a reasonable cost to our local and national customers...

Do your own research and buy what fits your needs.

By the way, everyone loves their Lashway converters so far .
