Upgrading to either the CircleD 5C or Yank SS4000
Just wanted to get y'alls opinions. Car is a bolt on car with TSP 228r and stock 799 heads. I currently have an Edge 3200 and am looking for something with a higher Stall RPM now that i added the H/C
I know either stall i go with will be fantastic but i was just curious if anyone here has had both stalls so i could get a story from both sides. The thing im most concerned with is stall efficiency. something that will not only get my 60ft up but will also be good on the big end and not rob me of my MPH at the track or on the street during a roll race.
Im also interested in the PT4000, anyone have that converter to comment on?

Probably because some of us want to learn why one would work better than another. Isn't that why LS1Tech was made for? But nowadays you have everyone that acts like they're Comp racing.
As for most of use bracket races, you ask us and we tell you why we changed what we did!
IE: Now days in the dragsters they run a very low gears because they want to be consistent (60' & RT wise). So instead of running (ex. 4.30+ gears) they run 3.70's to leave softer. So say if you go to a shitty hooking track, then it won't be as inconsistent (wheel speed and etc.).
Learned that from the Folks and Williams brothers at the Million Dollar Race
Oh, I vote Circle D all the way! You can't go wrong with either though.

I had the PT4000 and switched it to the Circle D 5C a couple of years ago. The 5C hits harder out of the hole and carries the power up top better as well. It's also tighter around town and has a nice positive lockup. You can't wrong with either one, but I really like the 5C.

What he said^^^
My 5c was amazing on the street and the track. It pulled VERY good up top especially when it was locked at WOT.I was able to out run those 6speed cars from a a good roll
