iam askin if i can run my 4l80e it i have a carb set up on my truck,

i have a 99 gmc sierra wit a lq4, i want to go carb but can i still run the 80 wit this setup, want can be done, do i is use the stock ecu, thanks,

the truck is not a tbi, its a LS base, yeah thats the reason i ask, so it be best to tune it out so it can run

You can delete the injector codes and have the PCM control spark on the motor, and run the trans still (as long as you have the MAP sensor still hooked up, as well as all the other sensors besides the MAF).

yeah they make the pcm to run the spark for the motor, so as long as the MAP is hooked up its all good, the MAF can be deleted then right, is help alot, i wanna get rid of my MAF is causen to many problems, ha

^This is the best and most cost effective route to move to carb and retain trans control. In this case it's a plus as you get spark control too.

ok kewl guys, good info, ok but where do i hook up the MAP senor it i run the victor jr intake for the carb

Drill and tap the intake or get a carb spacer with a vacuum port.

sweet, the more good info u give me the more iam getting excited, lol,

ok, so then if i do that i can run the 4l80e, ok, so all to do is instaill the intake, cam, heads, carb wit carb spacer run the line to map, then pcm for spark, keep everything normal, sweet

the factory pcm wit still work rite, for all acc.

Yep, just run a normal SD tune (with the addition of deleting injector codes) and the PCM will be none-the-wiser (just like doing a fuel-only megasquirt conversion).
