Default 408 camaro not running like it should

hey guys over this past winter i put LS3 heads and intake on the ol 408 and changed the converter over to a hughes 3500 and its now in the 11s which im really stoked about(had it for 5 years always ran 12.0s) but i thought with these heads and intake it wouldve ran low 11s. does this thing sound right to you guys? the best 60' its had was 1.60 and ran a best of 11.78@115mph but on this run i stalled it to the top of the converter before it pushed the brakes and it went 11.90@113 with a 1.68 60'. it seems to launch the best by flashing it but still think there is something off in the converter or trans let me know what you guys think. also ive noticed when i launch this thing i feel a wierd studder? like its hitting the bump stops on launch? it has stock springs in the rear just has the isolaters out and the spring is lined with heater hose, but they arent cut at all. help me figure this thing out guys i really appreciate it
Jason
edit- also if you look at the video real close you can see the car transfer the weight back and then its like something shoves it forward, and i think that is that little "studder" that im feeling
here is the video

I didn't hear any stuttering, but the car has very little weight transfer. Ditch those front tires for some front skinnies. Think about some adjustable shocks (at least single adjustable), rear drag bar and remove the front sway bar at the track. What Intake and heads did you have before?

it had some hand ported 853s and a stock ls6 intake and tb. the front sway bar is removed already, and my buddy has some comp engineering shocks that we might try out. also i looked at the bumpstops and there is only about a 2 maybe a 2 1/2 inches before the rear end and the rear end has a shiny spot where they may have been contacting could this be screwing up the weight transfer? should i remove these? thanks for the reply bud

forgot to ask... what's your raceweight and tire pressure? The stuttering feeling could be you crunching the sidewall of that tire (front lifting) and then unloading (front falling). Hard to tell from that video, the angle is good it's just too far away for my eyes.

I just build my 408 with a nitrous cam and nitrous stall which sucks NA and with a mild tune Fast 90 partriot heads reworked. it went 10.70s with a t400 60ft was a 1.69 mph was 124. If you can get low 11s thats pretty good with your what suspension you have

Those stock heads and what cam do you have? Did you retune your car after you switched heads. With ls3 heads you have to have a cam ground for those heads to match. The exhaust and intake are different vs a ls1 base or 6.0 head.

Im running a patriot stg.3 head its the 6.0 heads.

the best 60' ive got out of this thing was a 1.60 but it only did it once, im running a hughes 3500 stall part #gm35 so i dont think this is a nitrous converter, my mph is only 114 with 115 being the best.

the cam is an old grind from tsp its a 235/240 .609/.603 on a 112. and yes we did re-tune the car also with the ls3 heads we ditched the maf so the whole tune was redone on the street using a wideband. i called tsp about this cam with these heads and they told me that it was a pretty good cam for these heads??? ive seen splits as big as 15+/- degrees?? i was kinda thinkin that a cam like 224/240s would have been a better choice but i dunno
