Neutral saftey switch on 4l80 swap
#3
Whats so hard to figure out?
With an M6 there is a switch on the floor under the clutch pedal, it has two wires. Tie into those two wires and run them under the carpet to the shifter, the factory shifter has a switch. It has wires coming off of it, two will connect in park and neutral. Use an ohm meter or what ever it takes to find what wires connect in park and neutral. Connect the wire you ran to these two wires.
IIRC they are green and purple.

Yes the wires are green and purple with a white stripe. GM has used these colors for neutral safety switches since the 60's.
The switch on the right is the neutral safety switch for the clutch pedal.
The switch on the left is for the stock A4 shifter.
Take the wires that came off the clutch pedal switch and run them to the switch on the shifter.

It's real easy the reverse light plug on the M6 has brown and light green wires.
The neutral safety switch at the pedal has a plug with green and purple w/white wires on it.
You just need to extend each to the shifter.
I have an A4 car and an M6 car, it's easy for me to check the two.
