You will lose a few in the city, none on the highway. The trick to city driving is to try and keep it rolling as much as possible. Lots of red lights will slaughter your mileage. Choose routes that are higher speed and less red lights.

Correct. Basically your milage will only change when not in lock up. But how much it will change when not in lock up it depends a lot on your foot. I would guestimate only a few MPGs lost in the city if you are conscious about it. But if you get a heavy foot it will make a much bigger difference.

Go with the 3600 stall, you won't regret it. I put one in my 06 Trailblazer SS daily driver and I love it. The truck now feels like I shed 1000 lbs. I don't regret it at all, in fact, I like it so much I'm going to put one in my LS2 Monte also!

One other thing too, I was getting 16 mpg on my driver's information center before the converter. After the converter it only went down to 15 mpg. Of course this is driving around relatively easy with the occasional stomp, lol. If I drive it harder it will dip into the low 14 mpg range.

Around town, my SS3600 doesn't lock until about 40-42 MPH. Once locked at 40 mph, the rpm sits at 1200-1300. Until locked, the rpm's are just above 2K. I have 3.23 gears, so at 65 mph the rpm with converter locked is 1900-2000

"Sweet SS" what kind of other mods you got besides 3600 stall? was considering same stall or 3000 by yank. Want to get at least some traction off the line...what kind of mpg you getting also. thanks. I got the 3.23's also and am showing the same rpm's as you stated but have stock stall.
