Definitely. 4000 at least, maybe 4400. What's your gearing?
Here's mine with 2.73s.

i loved and dded my ss4k. you will love it for sure just don't listen to all the hype and be OVER expecting to much. its still a bolt on. thats where i made my mistake when i went stalled. by the time i read all the feedback from other guys on here, i was expecting n20, forced induction "gains" but compared to "regular" bolt ons it night and day.
btw, i swaped to t56 and while its fun, the stalled auto did felt way faster

I ran the converter in my sig with just bolt ons, and after a few months I wished I had gone a bit bigger. So my answer is, yes...I think it is worth the money for a bolt on car.

I have an FTI 4K stall and it's night and day from driving my friend's with a stock converter. I also believe .5 is a tad low on the quarter mile reduction. Probably .7 or more with traction.

what about a daily driven, 80 mile round trip, half freeway and half stop and go traffic? would you still do a 4k stall? im thinking 3600 for me. mine only sees the track a handful of times a year

I've had 3 converters: 3400 Fuddle and PT4000 in an untuned/3.73/lid/ls6/flowmaster Z28. I have no videos of the 3400 but here is the PT4000:

Then had a bolt-on/tuned/3.23/Circle D +4C Formula

I would base it on your location. If there is a lot of hills or stop and go traffic I would stick with a 3600. But I live in a small town that is pretty flat.

Love my FTI 4000 in my DD. I drive it 350-400 miles a week. It was so much better on the 373's but they took a dump the 342's are better than my old 323's but with 373's it is so much fun.
I still get 20+ miles to the gallon combined.
