Not trying to hijack the thread and I think it goes hand in hand with this one but I am looking at getting a 4k stall and its not a nitrous converter so if I run a 150 shot on this converter then will it hurt it? If it would hurt it then could i just cut the shot back to say 100 or something? Again sorry if I hijacked.

If it's a high quality converter I don't think you'll hurt it but will raise your stall speed.

He was telling you good luck because Fuddle converters are known to blow up trannys. I had a 3600 fuddle in my car and I put it on here for free and the buyer would only pay shipping and nobody wanted it.

Do a search on Fuddle and you will see.

Let me voice My oppinion as well.

YES!!!!

I had a Yank SS4000 behind a LS2 403 Stroker, and all I can say is WOW!
Now the trans and ss4000 is in a buddies car. (lid, catback, and ss4000) and it's night and day difference in his car. He absolutely loves it. On the first test drive, He said it's the first time the car has actually laid him in the seat since he has had it.

That alone should speak for them. I say do it and never look back. Plus interstate driving is like stock, once the converter locks up!

Good Luck, And Enjoy!

It's mixed results man. I've read up on them and the trans it was in before ran for 5k miles no problems. I think I'll be safe....

Well if you found the main thread on Fuddle converters, you would see that a bunch of guys stood up for Fuddle years ago and said their stalls were working good and a week after they posted one guy's trans went to crap and then a few others shortly thereafter. I just wouldn't trust it, but thats just me.

How would a tune effect the converter, or are you just sayng a tune is good too.

The tune makes a big difference with the converter. On my stock tune the stall was making it bounce of the rev limiter and it didn't shift as good. The stall usually messes with ur shift points a little so you have to get it tuned
