not exactly sure how to explain it. but pulled the trans from a buddies ls1 bird and stood the trans up on the tail and went to lock the convereter in 3600 FLT converter and it wont drop down twice like it is supposed to. the splines look the same as the stock converter. and i retried the stock converter and it drops in perfectly fine. so what does everyone think? converter bad??? thats what im leaning on since the stocker went right back on and nothing looks obviously damaged on the trans input shaft but the splines inside the converter doesnt look damaged either

the only problem is thers a show next weekend and i highly doubt well get the TC and have time to put the car back together before then.... lol

yes i tried spinning the converter this isnt my first converter install (not being an *******)
and yes as far as i know its a brand new FLT 3600 9.5in stall

new one came in monday it dropped in the trans perfect. with 1.125 inch clearance from the front face of the trans. and the trans is in good and all. guess it was just a shotty converter
