Default M6 to Th350 w Pro Ratchet Shifter

So Im just about done with my swap. Last thing to do is get the shifter cable working. I drilled a hole for it and hooked it up. Prob is it seems like its binding or something & I cant see where or why it would be. Anyone have pics of how you set yours up?

replying so I can add pics later. Just went from M6 to TH400... had to make the hole slightly oversized and at odd angle. Also using ratchet shifter.

Ya I made the hole big enough so the metal portion of the cable doesnt touch at all and the cable barely rubs the rib in the tunnel and def not enough to bind.

did you wind the cable into a loop around the top of the trans before going back to the linkage? Like this below:?

I ended up buying a thinner B&M cable and its shifting like butter now. Hope to get it adjusted right now.

I've read about people doing this swap with the B&M ractchet and pro stick even using the 4l60. Would you just order the shifter for the 350 or is it a different one??

Here is mine setup..Cable is coming up through the hole I cut for the T56 Shifter..right on the front edge of it.

I dont have a setup for that on the Console..I dont keep this setup in the car, only for track. I havent found an auto plate cheap enough to buy and put it on.

Silly questions but gotta ask. . .

1. With the cable disconnected from the linkage did you put the car in neutral AND the transmission in neutral?

2. Did you use the middle hole in the trans linkage?

I dont really have a pic but I ordered a cooler kit from Madman. Came with a big B&M cooler, Braided SS lines and all the fittings you need. I mounted mine right in front of the radiator.

Same shifter can be set up multiple ways. If your doing it to a 60e just remove one of the pins to allow the shifter to go into 4th.

Yes and yes. I think the way I had the large cable routed to get through the hole I made just had to much bend to it and was binding. Thin cable worked perfect.

Got the reverse and NSS wired lastnight. Now just need to get the speedo working. Anyone know which abs sensor I need to wire to the VSS? Im pretty sure there was 3 plugs goin into the ABS block.

Damn I forgot my camera at home but it looks **** and factory. I did use the B&M stealth Pro ratchet so It almost looks like a pistol grip shifter in the M6 console.

I'm putting a quarter stick in my m6 console & wanted to see your finished install because I know it will look clean/perfect after seeing your build thread! Keep up the good work.
