I am thinking of going with a ptc 3200 lockup stall. I am looking for input on the product quality and durability, and what necessary components I will have to add with the install and what to look for as far as computer tuning wise once the stall is installed. Any input will be much appreciated, thank you

I have heard good things about PTC converters, so quality wise, your good. You shouldn't need any tuning with that stall, but some cars are touchy. I have a ss 3600 stall and I didn't need to do any tweeking at all when I ran n/a. But when I sprayed it, I had to lower the shift point's just a tad, but that was all. Get a trans cooler and you should be set. Have fun!

I have a ptc3800 on my dd camaro. All i can say is that its the best mod ive done. As far as tune i sent my pcm to frost he took care of it. Are you sure you want that small of a stall? Reason i asked is because im thing on going bigger on mine and its a bolt on car.

Biggest one you can fit. Also, you will need to turn off something in the PCM that locks the converter softly.
Damn I can't remember what it's call. But before ordering from PTC, talking with Tim or Lane, I was told what to turn off to help longevity of the lock up clutch.

I had a 3600 that actualy would stall 4000 in 3rd gear at wide open throttle. Drove just fine with stock 3:23 gears. I plan on a custom cam shortly, so when I had the transmission built, I called PTC for a nitrous converter. I told them ( I talked to Tim when I ordered my converter) the duration and how much nitrous I plan on using and they build and shipped me a converter. I'm not entirely sure what "stall" it will be. It's made for my car setup.
I was told to turn something OFF in the transmission control of the torque converter, the part that locks the converter softly, so that the converter will lock quickly, not softly like stock.
I just can't remember what the 3 initials are. Something like PWD or something.
And actually it should be made for any converter under 12".
