Retap the hole and buy a new bolt.

but if you go with a slightly bigger bolt, would that be enough to throw off the balance and cause a little vibration?

You can use a hell-coil repair thread so it uses the same diameter bolts.

I would drill and tap them all identically, and use three
matching bolts.

Hammer and chisel. Hit it at the angle that would loosen it.

Same thing happened to me the first time I did a converter swap. Ended taking a dremel with a cutoff wheel and notching a V into the bolt....as if you were taking a slice of pizza out of it. Then I took a small chisel and hammer, put it in the V and angled it to make the bolt turn counter clockwise, and gave it a good couple of blows. It loosened up and I removed it by hand after that.

I suspect this advice is a bit late, but take all your 12-point sockets and put them in the back of the drawer, out of harm's way. Always use 6-point sockets on 6-sided bolts. Only time I use 12-point sockets are on 12-point ARP bolts.
I thinks black00ssFL's advice is good.
Good luck.

If you can get a bite with Vise-grips, good and tight, then
whack the tail with a hammer, there's your shade tree impact
wrench.
