Default 450-500rwhp do I need a billet converter?

Doing a maggie 112 install on my ls1/4l60E Iroc swap, plan is for 450-500rwhp do I need a billet converter or will a higher end stamped converter be ok?[IMG][/IMG]

Not looking to make it a race car, just a fun car to take out, wanting to go with a stall for increased performance but also so I can run a small cam.

I would say yes use Billet.
The stamped cover and small clutch are known to cause issues and failures.

Yes, billet converters are recommended, they are very strong and long lasting stalls

Billet Converter for sure.... If i were you i would also run a 4l80e in that thang also...

Yes to the billet and a built 60e to protect the converter investment

Also what coil pack/valvecover setup is that?> haven't seen it before

Holley and LS3 coils, a 4L60E will be fine, low hp, small tire. A 4l80 is overkill for sure.

I agree, You will need a bigger stall of you go with a 4l80e, and possibly bigger gear ratio on a 80e... 4.10 gears on a 80e are like 3.73s
