Default Lq4 make it work with 4l60e

I got a lq4 from a 04 2500 chevy truck.. I swapped the flywheel from the ls1 to the lq4 cause the TQ was not lining up with the lq4 flywheel.... quick swap and tq bolted on fine..... after swap was done and the moment to start it up the started would grind and at times the it would turn over.....Turned on just fine, but when i put it into gear it didnt get any gears...... i cheaked fuild and it was full.... Next i diconnected one of the tanny coolers and it had no pressure.... so the means the the tranny pump broke during the installment.... I got under the car and notice why the starter would grind..... the flywheel was about 3/8 out.... the flywheel flage is not flush with the rear main seal....guessing do to the extra 3/8 stickout of the crank cause the tranny pump to break during the install........... MY ? IS THE A WAY TO MAKE THE 4L60E FIT WITH MY YANK SS4000?..... or do I need to get a different TQ or do I have to run a 4l80e?.... If so can I use my Yank ss4000 on the 4l80.... and before anyone says maybe its a lq4 off a 99-00... Its not cause it came with alum 317 heads and it uses the newer style head bolts that started it 04+............ can I just bolt on a 350-400 turbo tranny?

Sounds like you swapped flexplates and never took the spacer off of the back of the lq4 crankshaft. That would cause every one of your issues that you are describing...

Once you unbolt the flexplate the spacer is right there its 3/8-7/16 thick (guessing off of memory) actually 3/8 sounds right the more I think about it. It should have threaded holes in it to screw bolts into to pop it off. I dont remember for sure what bolts fit it but I want to say its the flexpate bolts (they are a unique thread) Maybe someone with a better memory than mine can confirm this??

I did the same swap into my 95 RS camaro. I took the flexplate off and used a drimal tool to get the converter to fit. It only took about 30 minutes and had no issues after that. Its a free fix...
