If you drag race the car a lot it would be a good upgrade. For mainly daily driving duties it will be doable but kinda of a pain if you have a loud exhaust.

typically around 1000-1500 it doesn't take much throttle, but if i'm at a stoplight i don't have to use brakes for it to sit still lol

once my trans temp hits 66 degrees it'll lock up at 42mph so if you're doing a lot of hwy driving u won't have to worry about your mpg's being hurt

For $150 I'd be tempted to buy it and re-sell it on here for more...just depends on how good of a friend he is. I wouldn't do that to someone I'm good friends with, but if some random dude is giving you this deal then I would take it a make some money. Although for that price I'd be weary of its condition. Why would anyone sell you a 50 mile high quality converter for that price when they can easily get 3-4 times more selling it online?

I've got one... Doesn't bother me much, but I DD my car year round with no heat or AC, so YMMV. That being said- It's pretty loose, gets annoying around town.

for 150 you can buy it and try it. if you dont like it, you can have your buddy ship it back to yank for a free restall (if it was bought less than a year ago).

I have an ss3600 and its great. I dd the car in the summer and for a converter its size its quite easy to drive

$150 is a too good to be true type deal, be cautious if you don't know this person well

For that price, if you trust the seller, buy it and either use it or send it for a restall at Yank. I think they will restall for around $250 IIRC

For $150, i would almost guarantee that its wiped, there is no chance in hell that someone is selling a GOOD $725+ converter with 50-60 miles on it for $150...

Call yank and ask what they want to rebuild one.

If it's a good deal, buy it and send it in and they can either rebuild it as is or knock it down to a 3600.
