Default So I'm here at whatever it takes transmissions....

I'm here getting a few things for my transmission, and I see this and got a laugh out of it. Apparently they get so many orders for 4L60e parts, they went ahead and put all the various codes in a prominent location. Anyone that says that the 4L60e is
a solid transmission choice is delirious.

Fine, till the rear end yoke broke and took the roller clutch with it. Filter depth likely hurt the intermediate, but barring anymore driveline failures I'm confident that this 400 will live for many years to come. Funny enough?

I plan on breaking this section here soon. 700hp with a stock 4l60e going strong and the car only rolls around on 295/50/16 drag radials. I want to get to the track before making a thread to cause some havoc

What's left on your setup before you head back to the track? Decide on a rearend?

Building the transmission right now, ordered a billet forward drum earlier this week... but its still not here... so I will go as far as I can today. Not sure what I'm going to do rear end wise, but I'm not going to spend the money right now. Will just put a yoke on this 7.5 just so I can drive it, won't go back to the track till I have a HD rear end. I'm definitely surprised your transmission is still intact to be honest. Oh yea, driveshaft shop called yesterday......i bent it.

Dang man, that sucks the driveshaft bent. I jacked mine up launching after I put the 9 inch in. I hear you on just having some fun with the car and enjoying it. Track and rearend can wait until whenever.
