I will be shooting for 800 wheel next year. I'm reading some say that's the limit for the stock input shaft. I'll be adding a 2 step/retard so my launch will load the trans a lot more.

It's a 4.8-7875 turbo combo that did a best of 10.99 at 133 with traction issues. 4l80e is stock other than a hd2 kit. budget converter will get replaced with something in the $1k range (and an sfi plate)

I shift this combo at 7500. rev limited to 8k

I usually do my own trans work (with an ATSG and a lot of coffee)
I'm on a budget so I'm looking for someone like-minded to steer me to the right parts.

yeah it ran that first time out on 19psi, spinning at 300 feet. its a monster.

since then I have backed it off to 12-14psi trying to launch it better while not getting kicked out. still 60's in the 2.0 range

but I want it to launch hard, get a 9.9x time slip and sell it to fund my next project.
