Default 4L80e Swap into 4th gen Fbody. W/Part Numbers and Lots of Pictures!

Finally decided to do an 80e swap. It took me awhile to find all the info needed on here even with research . So here's all the parts needed and lots of pictures! I was able to do this without cutting anything in the tunnel!

For the trans harness plug I definitely had to do some major beating as did everyone I've seen that's done it.

Do the banjo fittings restrict the flow? I know sometimes people run bigger lines to the cooler. Feel like this would make it pointless.

My wiring "cleared" but was too close for comfort. I was afraid it would damage the plug so i cut a chunk out.

Nope, its about as high as it will go. Look closely, that pic has a huge amount cut out by the plug.

Nice! I'm doing this, this weekend. Finally got all the parts rounded up. I went with madman's dipstick tho. I didn't want a ridiculous fill time.

pull the dipstick out, fill from the bottom with that side of the car jacked up. Then put dipstick back in and lower the car to see the level. Its pretty easy and fast.
