Sure build the trans to the hilt to hold more power than you make, makes sense. Streetcar and don't want to spend money or lose overdrive or shove a 4l80 in? TM FTW.
I'm running out of popcorn and advil.

Clearly I have *****. I actually run a 4L60E with zero TM, three actually, not a problem with any.

I just wear the maxi pad for the day one comes through the floor, cuz we all know it's any second now.

This is by far the greatest input drum and sun-shell related failure I have seen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AMAZING!!!

THM400/ 4L80E center support/ intermediate clutch explosions look very similar in terms of sheer violence/ case explosion!

What happened there. The alum input housing/drum looks to be vaporized. Only thing left is steel input/sun shell. sorta. Failure point ?

No reason to turn torque management off. Learned quite a lot about it recently actually from a discussion with some tuners in high hp turbo applications. One, it's easier on parts and two, some people need it because they make enough power to be extremely dangerous without it. I seem to remember asking my tuner about it because people here said to turn it off and he laughed and said no, I'm not turning it off...and that's in a 400hp car.

be careful what you say. Next thing you know the internet “professionals” will tell you to find another tuner. Lol.
