4L80E Not Pumping Fluid
In a 1992 Chevy 2500. I pulled out the original 6.5 diesel and swapped in a 4.8 motor. The transmission worked fine before the swap. I used a transgo HD2 kit and put in the updated force motor with vent hole, and an updated wire harness. I also swapped in a new gas torque converter and put a flex plate with a spacer. I installed the torque converter dry. I added one gallon of fluid through the dipstick tube before starting the motor It went forward fine. In reverse it would not move until I revved the motor significantly. I only ran it for about one minute and shut it off. I added another gallon and restarted it. Now it will not move forward or reverse at all. The fluid level in the case is very high and will come out of the vent hole if I add any more. The level is not going down. I disconnected the fluid line to the cooler and verified that it is not pumping fluid at all when running. Any suggestions?
I'm pretty certain it is seated all the way because I knew to watch out for that.. I'll double check though.. This is the exact flex plate I used, with the included spacer.:https://www.summitracing.com/parts/a...AaAsLIEALw_wcB

I appreciate the help.
The torque converter is seated all the way in. I just double checked.
I'm back to 6 days a week at work now and running short on free time. Does anyone have a shop that they can recommend in the San Francisco east bay area?
