4l60e binding reverse
Soaked clutches, built the new reverse drum, installed everything including the band on the pin lol, put the pump in, walked away feeling good. Two seconds later I realized I forgot the spring cage in the reverse drum so ripping it all out tomorrow. I'm not even upset because I still made progress and it's all still learning and every time I redo something it's faster next time.
Making more progress. Got the valve body back together minus the one broken bolt, installed the forward and reverse abuses, got the bell housing back on minus the one broken bolt, and started dialing in the band. Still need to run the wiring for the temp gauge and get a different cooler that will fit "dope style" with shipping time on my bolts might not be done till weekend after next. Just another thank you to so many of you guys for the help in this.
Figure I'll just keep updating till it's done. Wasn't feeling it much today but still got my dash taken apart, probably too much, to run wires for my temp gauge. Bell house bolt should be here tonight so thinking I'll go and work on it tomorrow and hopefully mount everything. Still waiting for my replacement valve body bolts and my new trans cooler but that should be the last of it.
Transmission is mounted but not fully bolted down. Trans cooler should be delivered tomorrow, gotta flush the lines again, finish the temp gauge, and reassemble everything else. Probably won't be back at it till Wednesday with the weather taking a bad turn.
Trans is bolted fully, drive shaft, o2s, cross member, exhaust, and cooler are all mounted loosely. Waiting on the valve body bolts and a new pan, gotta connect the torque converter, flush the cooler lines, connect the aux cooler, starter, interior harness, and funny to me but I can't finish the gauge because I can't open the door far enough to get to the fuse panel.
Also for anyone that does stumble into this mess if you are built like a twig like myself you can at least start the top bolt by hand and then ratchet it in from there.
This should be done shortly. Thank you all.

I can build you a "Pig-Tail" for Cost (usually about 75% cheaper than the Prices you are seeing for Retail).

That offer goes to any member here for Connectors!

I always have offered a Professional Courtesy to other Professionals...
AS well a discounts to Automotive Enthusiast!
It seems to be rare these days... I guess most People can't or won't offer this in today's Market.
It's sad.
