We talking 8.5" tire or rim? I wouldn't hook for sheet on a tire that small.

I have a vig 3200. perfect all around street/strip. nothing wrong with Yank either, pocketbook only allowed a vig.

I'm using a 26x15x 8.5" wide ET Drag on a 7.5" wide Convo-Pro wheel. Dead hooks everytime w/a medium burnout leaving at 1200 rpm... I have a stock motor w/cast iron manifolds....low 12.30's... WJ

TCI SF3000/2.2; a little low in RPM once I got used to it
and too much STR to hook past half throttle. Ordered
up a Fuddle custom 3500/2.0(ish) with a stronger TCC,
on its way now.
