Change transmission fluid?

Change transmission fluid?
Should I change my transmission fluid? I have about 68,000 miles and am going to get a TCI SSF and a cooler installed pretty soon and wanted to know if it would be okay. The car has never been to the strip and is occasionally opened up. I've been reading either change the fluid regularly or don't do it all. What do you guys think?
Thanks!

How hard is it to change the transmission fluid? I want to do a complete fluid overhaul when I get my TA as it's fluid that's been in there for 6 years ( even though it only has 18.7k on it ). Should I just pay the what like 75 bucks and have a shop do the changes or is it fairly easy?
I also want to do the fuel filter, coolant, and rear too.

80,000 miles or more on original fluid then do not change it especially if it smells burnt. if it smell burnt regardless of miles or doesn't shift right then do not change it. I had a guy want a tranny service done on a blazer with 88,000 miles and burnt tranny fluid I refused to do it for that reason and explained why it was then he learned that swapping tranny fluid doesn't fix a tranny thats slipping or not shifting correctly. I made the mistake of doing that one time and about a week later the tranny went out completely learned the hard way on that one.
as for difficulty to do. you have to drop the tranny pan, change filter install new gasket onto the pan and reinstall the pan then pour in 4 and half quarts. start engine put into reverse then neutral then drive,3rd,2nd,1st and back to park and repeat a few times to move the fluid through the tranny, then check level should need another 1/2 quart. then run it through the gears a few more times then check fluid level drive it a mile or 2 check level and it should be good to go.
