Default Torque converter bolt size for a TCI converter?

What bolt size is used for the TC1 streetfighter converter? The bolts that came with it are bigger than the stock ones and they won't fit through the flexplate. What is the correct size bolt that I need?

the bolt threads into the tc though, not the flexplate, so you need to use the bolts that came with it.....i had that problem with one of my holes, i ended up using a dremel to widen it up a bit...pry not the best way to do it, but it worked for me....

Listen to the people trying to help you on the other board where you ask the same questions. Listen or you'll get nowhere.

jdustu is right. 2 holes should work 1 hole will be to small. Use a dremel or a big drill bit for the 1 hole, NOT ALL 3. I used dremel myself work great.

Would it be ok if I dremel the holes with the transmission already bolted to the engine? My dremel is small and it fits well? would this be ok to do?

I opened mine in 3 mins using a 5 buck round metal file. just popped off the starter with engine out of car and opened one hole a tiny bit. I had to use 3 washers for TC bolts, i had about a 1/4" gap between flexplate and TC after bolting trans up - hope this is ok and my 3000 stall lockup switch works -
