Default bolt on car convertor suggestions

Car is a bolt on car A4,3.23 and will have drag radials for track use.The Vigilante and Yank are out of my price range.I have also heard of Fuddle and they seem to be reasonably priced. The car will see track use approx 3 times a year.

If you dont want to pay for quality now, you'll end up paying more down the road to replace a cheaper one. In this case...just keep the stock one.

Also keep in mind that quality=more money. Better quality=more efficient. More efficient=better ET/Mph.

Ok, the basic, standard, good ol' bolt on car converter is the TCI SSF3500. For a milder, in-town friendly daily driver, the TCI SF3000.

Better to keep stock than buy a Fuddle? Me and the huge number of people running great times and loving ours would strongly disagree.

I thought people had seen beyond that. I know I have. This was beaten to deatn a while ago. Seriously, I don't think many people still think Yank makes a better 'verter than Fuddle. God don't let this turn into another one of those. I am glad you like your Yank. I love my Fuddle and wouldn't have anything else.

3200 - 3600 stall with a 2.5 STR will work nicely at the track with nittos and be a good daily driver. A 2.0 STR would be more friendly for stoplight racing but will cost you .05 in your 60' at the track.

How is it as a daily driver.I have a Toyota truck I use as a daily driver but during summer months and no rain the Z sees a good bit of street use.

Dont get all butt hurt b/c I didnt reccomend a fuddle. I've installed different converters and seen the ET/mph improvement at the track. So far, Yank takes it.

Yes...Butt hurt...That is what that was...Oh wait.
No one got butt hurt about anything. It certainly wasn't that you didn't recommend a Fuddle. That certanly is up to you. I thought it was interesting that you said keep stock instead of get the Fuddle. Ignorance and and arrogance make an odd coctail. You haven't tried a Fuddle Converter. Fuddles have picked up MPH over Yanks.

Also...

I love this converter for my DD. It feels great and I wouldn't change a thing.

If you like your verter, then good for you. Who said I was ignorant and arrogant? Nice assumtion. Like I already said, I've seen what almost every brand of converter can do. In numerous cars.
