Flexplate
Flexplate I'll be installing a built transmission, converter, and cooler and need to know what aftermarket Flexplate you guys run/recommend?
Also any other parts I should get at the same time other than a poly trans mount?

got it on my car and it has been ok so far, i thought that only tci made flexplates for the 4l60e and ls1. could be wrong, if you car is a 98-00 you are ok because the flexplates are thicker than the 01-02's

The '98-'00 appears not much thicker, but
the holes are arranged much more evenly /
sensibly. I have never heard of an early one
cracking, not to say they couldn't. But I
figure if you're putting it behind a motor
that eats trannies, you might as well buy
yourself the peace of mind and keep both
of your feet attached; get one that's tough.
Speaking of tough, I would just not be able
to trust an aluminum one. They don't make
aluminum springs, for a reason. If it has to
bend a million times, make it out of steel,
baby. I don't care what the marketing says.
Me, I'll never spin it that high or make that
much power, that I expect to break the '98
'plate I have. Famous last words....
