How do you know its not locking up? Checked the tranny tune recently for preset lockup points? Have you changed diff gears and/or tyre size and not rescaled the speedo?

I would get the tranny looked at and get that problem solved before even thinking about a bigger stall. These big stalls are hard on the tranny(higher heat) and if you already have a problem whith it now it's a good bet it's going to go out with the higher stall. Also remember to put the biggest tranny cooler you can find for a 5000+ stall when you do it.

Probably lied to him.
But if it can REALLY hold that much power it must have cost 4k minimum.

You mean the 5k+ stall? Just fine. mine still has a stock cam in it. It doesn't 60' like it should but the MPH is there. 11.04@ 122 w/ 1.54 60'

Thats what I was thinking, I'm still new to the Auto section but I've never heard of a 1,500HP capable 60. And even if it can hold it, doubt its the most cost effective 1,500HP tranny out there.
