2.0-2.3 is probably normal with 1.9 being pretty rare for a stock A4.

Before I threw in the stall, I could regularly cut 1.95 sixty foots on some Firestone Fuzion 245 radials. I just knew how to drive them, and knew how to get the car outta the hole.

Now after only 8 passes with the stall, my average 60 dropped 3 tenths, and the average 1/4 mile pass dropped 6 tenths. I'm sure that I'll be able to do better than that with some practice.

So, average slip before stall looked like this:

1.9x 60' 8.1x 1/8th 12.6x 1/4

Now with the converter and Nitto DR's:

1.6x 60' 7.6x 1/8th 12.0x 1/4

You tell me if the converter was worth it or not...

Just for fun, I'm going to go out tomorrow night at see what that stall will do with my Fuzion street tires at the track. I'll report back in this thread.

Get your 60' down to a 1.9 and 12's are more than possible.

My best was 1.9, I cut the light very well and "mashed" the pedal instead of stomping hard on it, That's the only way I can explain it...and it was my best time on that kind of launch...

2.09 was my best time before stall - that was on Kuhmo Ecsta 275/40/17 tires.

Best I got before the stall was a 2.07 on 245/50/16 Dayton Daytona. With the mods in sig it cut a 1.76 60ft on the same tires. The stall will definetly help.

went to the track yesturday nd ran a new best.....2.125 60ft and ended runing a 13.24 at 106.......thats after i lowered my air pressure because when i checked it, it was at 39psi so i lowered it to 25psi....do you guys think its possible to run 12's how i am, if i get better 60ft? also i would line up and bring my rpms to albout 1100 or 1200 before i launch.....what do you guys with out a stall bring your rpms up to before you launch? this was only my second time out to the track so any advise will be appriciated

I cut a 1.9 with the mods in my sig minus the ported TB and SFC's. This was on BFG KDWS tires at 28 PSI. I didn't stall it up at all, just mashed the pedal on the light. I cut consistent 2.0's and ran consistent 13.0's at 107-108. The 12.9 run I spun a little on the launch but managed to hook quickly and was rewarded with my first 12. I don't know if you could hit 12's as is or not. I can't imagine having much more power than you and I was able to do it. I would think with a good launch you should be able to get there.....or really close at least.

I always ran better times by flashing it rather than stalling it up. I would just barely hold the gas pedal....maybe 100-200 RPM over idle. On the 3rd yellow light, I just floor it and go. If the track has good prep you should hook pretty good.

The best I cut was a 1.99 on stock 16'' RSA tires. That was before the 17's and the lowering(stock Eagle F1's BLOW!!!). I can't get better than a 2.3 60' but I know it's because of the tires. I picked up these up cheap because I needed tires for the new rims...I can't wait to get these things off lol.

Never better than 2.0 on stock or 3000 stall, 3.23
or 3.42s, Stock Torsen or T-2R differential, Goodyear
Eagle F1 or GS-D3 tires. Always tire limited, the only
difference as I mod along has been how much -past-
the 60' mark I continue to spin. You know what you
need to do. If you don't want to drive on drag radials
full time then get a third pair of rims for the play tires.

1.88 60 ft on Nitto DRs. 3000 stall with 3.23 gears. Track prep was pretty bad on a hot day to boot. 13.1 @ 105 mph.
