ok i have a fuddle 3200 with a 2.2str and stock gears..im planning on gettin some 3.73 and my ss3600 installed here soon..
right now my car runs extremely good from a 20-25 roll (thats what all the locals like to go from, no one wants to go from a dig) and if doesnt spin form a dig..
i know im goin to probably have issues goin from a stop after the gears and stall but ill work on my susp.
but how well will this step up work from a roll? i herd on here awhile back that a lower str is better from a roll so im worried my fuddle will out perform my yank and gears from a roll.. sorry i know im dumb but i had to ask

Yank 3500 here with a 2.5 STR. From that slow of a roll, mine spins pretty bad. But once it hooks, it hauls ***. I don't think you need to worry too much about the low speeds. It's the higher speeds that are supposed to be less efficient although I certainly gained everywhere when I put mine in.

how does the pt series compare to ss?? I'm thinking the ss is to street oriented for my car, a more aggressive converter would net me some better et's...
Yeah im pretty psyched with the 118mph
I got a pretty big cam, she likes to spin to 7k

I got a pretty big cam, she likes to spin to 7k Don't downshift your transmission. Let it kickdown on its own. It will go down to 1st up to around 30mph.
Unless you're running some really good drag radials, you should be roasting the tires. If not your car isn't running like its supposed to. I can light up my 555R's pretty good with my SS3600 2.5 with a stock motor. Done any 1/4 or 60' tests?

and you gotta remember my stall is a 3200 with a 2.2str
which is not as hard hittin which is better for the launch and on the street
its weird my car dead hooks on the street and spins on the track but the track around here isnt known for having great prep

I'd have to differ on both accounts, i've manually shifted my trans when racing its entire life (52k+ miles), and its never missed a beat. I think it's all about how you do it, timing etc. My car hooks great on street/strip with only drag radials, i'd have to say its running just fine though. I wouldnt call bfg's a really good tire
not a 315/35/17 anyways

Nice kill!
yeah wow that is crazy i definitely can never hook up with full throttle from any roll if it kicks into first and from a dig not even 1/3 throttle before it breaks lose...maybe those tires really help alot over street tires
