First thing you'll have to lose the ported ends. They cause your computer to lower the line pressure in the tranny since they cause a lower load reading to the computer. Do a subject search for ported in the drivetrain forum and read up.

Having said that, I'd recommend the stock ends with a Super Yank 3500. This converter was made for a bolt-on or mild cammed car with 3.73 on street tires or drag radials.

I love mine!!

VIG 3600 has good driveability on the street and a pin yo *** in the seat launch at the track.

The Vig 3600 is actually a 4300 stall. That's pretty hardcore for a stock motor in a daily driver

Im getting a new FLP IV trans, so to compliment it, i'm purchasing a 3600VIG. Even with my tr cam (224. 564) it will stall at that? and i have 3.73 gears.

So will this VIG 3600 be one kickass converter then? I'm thinking it stalls around 3800-4000 RPMs.

2800 stalls at 3200
3200 stalls at 3800
3600 stalls at 4300

These are tested very accurately consistently these actual stall speeds...

You want something "streetable," have 3.73s, and don't show a track time or that you have nittos.

The answer is simple: SuperYank 3500
Low STR for the 3.73s on the street launch and excellent performance from a roll.

YANK WHAT???? UMMMM throw your shift solenoids out of whack and make your tranny go south, NO THANKS! Your 3600 will FLASH aroud 4200 or 4300 not just stall that high, and it will even lock up around 35 MPH gotta love those guys at PI. I ran mine with 3:42's and was great, but you will have to have some kind of drag radial or something to put it to the ground. Best of luck to ya.

I see you're in Dallas and running some G2 parts. Feel free to give me a call at the shop today, and I'll be glad to talk converters with you. I'm on my 9th converter in an LS1 (4 Vig and 5 Yanks), so I can give you some good comparisons.
