Running a 4l80e truck dipstick tube with the stock 4l60e dipstick. I had to cut the dipstick about 2in shorter. One day im going to order the actual 4l80e dipstick.

The lokar one is nice, Im still thinking of ordering that just because the 4l80e dipstick tube was PITA and if I ever have to drop the trans agian Im not fighting with that thing.

Did you remove the stock rubber groument thing from the trans where the tube inserts in the trans with the lokar? I got my lokar in and I noticed its got the orings on the bottom and its bigger then the stocker so im assuming the rubber peice has to come out correct?

i bought the hughes performance one because it was the cheapest. had to heat it up and bend it over more about 6" from the end to clear the cowl
