Hey, I have narrowed it down, and I think I'm going to go with a 3300 stall. Now, what brand, how much will it cost me, etc? Please help me pick exact converter. I am looking mainly for one that will give me more on the street(Top end) But will also, on occasion work at the track. I street race a LOT more than I go to the track, so I don't want something that's gonna spin my tires all over the place. I have 3.73 gears btw, and I drive in the city a lot. Please help with all specs. I know VERY little about torque converters. I heard with some, you can't even notice the torque converter's in the car unless you step on the gas. Thanks in advance.

Michael,
I would recommend one of our TCI Streetfighter 3000 stall converters for your application. It's extremely efficient on the big end and will have a 2.2 STR to help you launch on the street with out too much tire spin. You'll pick up at least 4 tenths through the quarter. Feel free to call me if you have any questions.

Consider me biased, All i have ever had is Yanks and as far as the current sceane i will stay that way. I can't make any comments on any other converters from any other manufactures. I have a SS3800E its street manners are fairly mild but the WOT hit is very nasty as the car wants to go side ways on street tires. Cheack out RaugHammers site he does a break down of some yank converters and a vigi. It might prove to informative.
