Default MS4 + 3800 STALL = What shift RPM

MY rev limiter is set at 6700 and all shift points are 6300. Went out tonight and made some hard pulls from a stand still. I keep bouncing off the rev limiter. If I punch it from a roll it shifts fine. Trans and 3800 vig stall are new with less than 30miles on both. What correction should I make. I just purchased EFILIVE and I am just learning how to use it. Any help would be greatly appreciated

You didn't give it many break-in miles. Are you shifting manually or letting the tranny shift itself?

Default Shift Points

YES I am dead hooking from a stand still. I am letting the trans do the shifting. I got the tune from Wait 4Me Performance but only had a 2800stall at the time, now with a bigger stall what do I need to change. The tune I got from Wait4me was spot on perfect in every way, Thanks Jesse Bubb!

I loged the run and it showed I hit a bit over 7000rpms. It kinda double punched the limiter. The first run was fine the second and third I had the problem.

u might wanna check ur RPM to MPH shift values.......i know i had messed with my limiter and shift points and instead of changing the RPM shift point i messed with my MPH's and bounced off the limiter like a champ......the car is set to shift at a certain mph and i moved it up a few mph but didnt move my rpm shift points so i was getting to the MPH but not the rpm i needed to be at........either that or ur PCM isnt comanding the tranny to shift.

Thanks for the replies. I will give it a try in the morning. Had the same problem with old trans and TCI 3500 last year. I only had a Predator handheld but was able to get it to shift after many trial and error goes. Just did H/C 90/90, trans, lifters, chain. Just got the car on the road and not at the track yet. Do the shift #s and rev limit look right to you? Your car sounds great!

THanks, the clip is untuned and thru the cut-out...u should hear it now with the duals....TSP set my buddies SS with the MS4 and 3800 stall at 6400 but he didnt have heads or fast intake....so im guessing u could step it up just a lil bit.
