Default Need help choosing a converter

I am trying to decide on a converter, I have been told to go with a Yank 3500 and a Vig 3200 byt which one is better? Which one yields better times in the 1/4? I would appreciate any info.

Just how much street use does your car get, and how much drag strip use? That probably will affect your choice of converter more than anything else.... WJ.

I don't get too much street use out of it, I bought it in August of 01 brand new off the lot and it has a total of 4,600 miles right now. I don't drive it in the winter and it is defiantely not my daily driver but I do like to crusie around when I do have it out. As for the drag use, I have not brought it too much but plan to bring it about once every week or two when I get my gears and a converter in.

I don't have either one of those stalls, but I do have one made by John Gobel out of Waco, TX. Call Dave at Nitro Daves 254-235-3288 and ask him about these stalls. I bought one and Dave installed it on Nov 11 and I went to the track on Nov 23. I do not lie or bend the truth, but my ET was.75 better with the stall. I ran the previous week a 13.49 and with the stall ran a 12.73. Same track, tires, temp, everything! These results are worth the money. A lot of people on this site know and have done business with Dave. You can normally find him listed under the group purchases section. By the way a have a 3200 with billet internals and love it!!!!!! Have ?'s tyoder29@netzero.com

Dave,
You might want to check out the Phoenix Pro by TCS we have a 3-year warranty and a 3-year unlimited re-stall. BEST of all you don't have to wait to receive it they are in stock!! Also you might want to give Mike at Rapid Motorsports.com a shout he is a distribtor for us, he could help you too!
