Paging Midwest TC owners
Considering getting a MW TC for my car. If you have a MW TC, can you post what kind you have (stall speed and STR) and the shift extension on the 1-2 and 2-3 upshifts? Thanks in advance.
Thanks. What STR is that? I notice you have higher shift points - what are they? That will also affect shift extension.
not sure where the shifts are cause the tachs suck. i would say about 6200ish. im sure extensions would be higher then cause youre spinning the motor faster....though im not all that sure on the converter stuff.
3200

One of my friends in our club runs a Midwest.
Don't know specifics other than that it is a 3000 stall that foot stalls to about 2500-2650.
With just bolt-ons thru the cats, running on ET's in his 2002 Firehawk, he pulled a 1.76 60ft on to a 12.76 pass.
True elev. is 2150 ft. with the DA that day about 2600.
Not true specs on the converter, but hard numbers from the track at least.
He dropped .4 with this converter.
His car is stock weight as well, hope this helps.
