Does anyone know anything about the PTC converter. I've heard a few good things from folks around here. Just wanted to see if anyone else knows anything about them. Thanks.

you posted this 3 hours ago. maybe give it some time. They're an extremely reputable company in the racing world down south from my knowledge. They quoted me around $800+ for a 9" piece for a big inch sbc on the hose. Goodluck

I talked to a guy from Florida yesterday that swears by them. He said that they have awesome customer service. He claimed to build big turbo cars and they will go to the track to tune them. If the converter is not right they send it back for free re-stalls, sometimes more then once. They do install them as soon as they get them and head to the track. He said that they have sent back quite a few to get them tweaked without a problem. Sounds like a good company but I'm not sure how long they have been around. Their new to me. IDK

PTC has been around plenty long enough.
Maybe you've heard of Kenny Ford, formerly of TCI, when Bill Taylor sold TCI, he left and started his own company.

Never heard of PTC and you're in the performance transmission business?

I have owned and installed several of there converters and have never had any problems at all. They also build some great transmissions as in th350,th400, and powerglides. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

LOL. I did not say I've never heard of them, just never have run them myself, I guess is what I meant to say. They sound like a good company! I really don't get caught up in converters...I build tranny's.

A lot of the people in MS run their trannies and converters in th350 and 400 applications. I know of a few that use their converters with 4l60's and 700r4's. I think that they do very well with the 350 and 400, but I don't know how they do with overdrive trannies.

I ran one in my 4L60e and it seemed to pull very well. Also the prices of their converters kills all of the competitions. Also they come with anti ballooning plates on all their converters i believe and have all the goods. They cant be beat really. I wish someone would talk to them about being a sponsor. They would make a killin.

We were thinking the same thing. We have a lot of our Turbo Buick customers that have had GREAT success with the converters and we are now an authorized dealer for PTC Torque Converters!
