Default a4 tranny (4l60e) stock shift points in RPM (i found em)

im writing this post so it will go into archive beacouse it took me over a month to finally figure out this question that i see many have also asked! THE SHIFT POINTS FOR AN A4 TRANNY IN A 02 F CAR ARE:

1-2 = 5918
2-3 = 5914
3-4 = 5912 (3-4 IS A ESTMATE)

THESE NUMBERS WERE FOUND BY TAKING THE SHAFT SPEED SHIFTS POINTS FOR WOT (SUPPLIED BY GM) AND MUTLPULING IT BY THE TRANNY GEAR RATIO OF THE GEAR BEING SHIFTED OUT OF. AS A SIDE NOTE I DO BELIVE THE REVLIMITER FOR A CAR IN GEAR IS 6200 WHILE NETURAL REVLIMITER IS APPROX 4000 HOPE SOMEBODY WILL FIND THIS USEFUL BEACOUSE I SURE WOULD HAVE!!!!!

AS AN UPDATE, THE ABOVE IS FOR A CAR WITH 2.73 GEARS IN REAR. FOR ME (3.42) IT WOULD BE SLIGHTLY MORE FOR A TOTAL OF 1-2 =6037 2-3 =6015 3-4 = 5998 AND IM SURE YOU CAN APPROXMATE FOR 3.23 OR 3.73 BY USING THESE FACTS!!!

i thought this was good stuff to spread i went thru hell and stumped a tech from slp, hypertech, and gm amoungst others before me and the daytona pontiac service manger sat down and figured out i could get the info thru some backwards math if intrested in more of this info its from gm document 752730 but all it tells is shaft speeds you gotta translate em to get rpms you know what i found kinda funny is most agree reving past 6k is not good for stock valvetrain but yet alot of people up their shiftpoints which according to this will bring you above 6k even with +1 mph to any shift and this really tells me that the stock tach is a good deal off since it reads 58 on the 1-2 and 55 on the 2-3 Finally id just like to say that these numbers are approxmates beacouse GM's numbers to me are "+\- 250rpm" so beacouse of that on the 1-2 you have a +\- of about 750 rpm and on the 2-3 you have a +\- of 405 rpm while on the 3-4 you have a +\- of 250 rpm good luck and hope you all finds this useful as i did

Well Hell That Would Put My Estmates Verry Close, Like I Said Somewhere Above The Shaft Seeds Are Gonna Be Gm Estmates Beacouse I Guess When Your Spinnign An Opject At A Couple Thousand Rpms A Frac Of A Sec Makes A Large Difference What Your Telling Me Fits Perfictly See 2.73 Cars =5920 3.23=6000 And 3.42= 6040 By My Estmation Table Id Guess Your Shift To Be 5970 But Hell Id Look At This With A 100 Rpm Margin Of Error At Worst With Most Cars Being Close Like 25-50 Rpms Off What Your Computer Says And Whats Actually Happing Should Be Verry Close But Were Talking Millisecconds Now And Even The Great Obd-ii Are Not Gonna Be That Accurate On Someting Like This I Mean Think Of It 6000 Rmps =100 Rpms A Seccond!!! So Even Being A Hald Of Seccond Off Is 50 Rpms Which Is Very Likely To Be (imo)

Actually On Further Thought, If You Look Even More Closly You Will See That A 3.23 Is Closer To A 3.42 Than A 2.73 Is To A 3.23 Therefore You Being At 6000 Is Almost Dead On With My Calcs See If You Do The Math Youll Find That Of The Difference In Gear Hight From 3.42 To 2.73 Your About 72% Of The Way There With 3.42's Now If You Take The Rpm Difference Between 2.73s And 3.42s And Multpuly It By 72% You Will Get A 87 Rpm Increase From Tis You Will See Tht By The Table A Car With The 3.23 Gears Should Have A 1-2 Shift Of 6007 Which Is Dam Dam Close....
