I love to murder the manual guys at the stoplight and the track.
Through the years I have drag raced a shitload of manual cars both on the street and strip, and honestly, I find that very very few drivers can launch/shift their cars well enough to beat a stalled auto in a drag race.

I own both a t56 and a 4l60e.I love the auto,once you start goin faster n faster that grippy clutch and low gears you put in the manual will give you headaches in stop n go traffic,needless to say it breaks more parts.It does have the cool factor though.

I almost swapped the 4l60e out for a T-56 but I had a change of heart and put a Stall in the car. After that point on I have not once wished it was a 6-speed nor would I trade it for one.

I've had both and I'll never be without my auto from this point on. I've convinced several 6-speed buddies as well! I may have another 6-speed F-bod again someday, but it'll come second to the Hawk.
The battle rages on ! 
i was looking for a 6 speed, but its hard to obtain your fbody, fully optioned to your preferences, when the damn thing has been out of production for several years. i found that most of what was out there was either grandpa's babied a4 or some kid's used and abused m6.

I like my auto, but I'd like to get an M6 black SS one day, too. For a daily driver and for a track car, auto hands down. The only time I see an M6 as better is for high roll racing on the street or as a weekend warrior.
I wish I had a 6 speed. The auto is cool but I would have a lot more fun with the T56. My next one is going to be a 6 speed. At the same time, I'm not about to tear my car apart to put a T56 in it.
I loved my 6 speed when I was NA but with my twin turbo setup I went 4L80e. And from everything I read about doing the 6 speed to auto swap, I wont be disappointed. Its a win win situation...stalled auto from a dig but with the mad top end that the turbos give you.
