Default What gains from SY3500 to SS4000?

Right now I have a SY3500 and am considering the SS4000(2.6 STR). Traction hasn't been a problem yet, if anything, the car bogs off the line. I'm pulling mid 1.7's with a 1500 DA and dead hooking. What kind of difference in E.T. and 60' could I expect? I'm guessing at least a tenth off my 60', and 1.5, possible 2 tenths off my E.T.

If you can hook it, I think you'll drop AT LEAST two tenths off of your 60 ft and 3-4 tenths off of your ET.

I have some room to play. I was still hooking with 20# of air in my E.T. streets last week. If I have to, I'll go all the way down to 10.5.
If not, then it's time for HALs.

Hey BLOWNGS I have a Yank SS4000 Extreme that I will be selling soon. I am stepping up to a 8" full race converter with close to a 5000 stall.

Anyway don't know what tranny you have but its for a TH400. I paid $900 for it in April 03 and it's only see 21 passes at the track. I am thinking about selling it for like $500-$600, need cash quick to get the car finished

Message me if your interested, I will probably post it in the for sale section in a couple weeks.

Man you can dead hook a SY 3500 on nittos at 20lbs or even 22lbs. ET Streets are too much for that converter. Easily .3 in an upgrade for you.

So far it appears to be a .25 upgrade!
