Ehhh...looks nice, and looks luxurious but I doubt I'd ever want one. Not my taste but looks like they did a great job with it!!

It looks great inside and out but needs a 6 cylinder 300 hp engine as base like the CTS and a V-8 option or even a boosted 6 with 350-400 hp engine.

Remember, Buick is competing with Lexus, Infiniti, and Acura...not BMW and MB like Cadillac is. The Japanese premium cars are almost all FWD or AWD and V6 powered. I can't think of any of the Lacrosse's possible competitors that offer 280hp.

Buick beat Lexus in an Inside Line head to head comparison.

Infinite G37 AWD - 300 + hp. I think around 330. There are larger Lexus/ Infiniti cars also, like the M45 etc. I believe they compete with BMW/MB. Plus you can get a AWD 3 series, inline 6 turbo awd. not bad either.

I agree LEO, should have an option with more power.

That's right, the G37 was 306hp when I drove one in 2008. Forgot about that.

As much as I do like the M45, it does not really compete (at least not well) with anything from Cadillac, BMW, or MB.

It has been restyled for next year, and they will offer a M56, with a car-tuned 5.6lv8 from the titan with over 400hp. That should help

There are some badass American cars out there these days...Quality, Engg, Design, Cost, etc...are excellent. The general public needs to wake up and realize that. Of course, there are some dogs out there still too.

I'll be in the market for another car in the near future, one that is comfortable and one that has a high end feel to the interior. I'll definitely check this car out.

Unit~i agree with ya man. Alot of people won't even LOOK at the domestic makers and it's sad really. All these nicer cars are being focused to that crowd that goes to the imports and they do a good job at them. Alot of the time they are cheaper/comparable in cost too but people refuse to look at them. It's sad really

i was going to trade my 03 e500 benz in on a 07 cadillac sts-v with 469 hp it was black with the red-black interior and for the power it claimed it shure wasent there it dident feel much faster that my 302 hp benz.
the interior was nice except for the climate control display and thats the reson the wife dident want it.
the exterior is hot tho for those who havent seen one its looks like a bigger cts-v

Run it against that Benz and you'll be singing a different tune.

The STS-V is not designed to feel fast. All that sound deadening, plushness in the interior, and ride control breaks any connection you could have to the road. It's not a "driver's car", it's a premium luxury sedan that can move out. Several owners on Cadillac Forums have had theirs in the high 12's bone stock. They are not slow...remember this is a 4300lb sedan we are talking about.

I was dissapointed with this car when they dropped it off the truck at the dealership I work at. It looks similar to a Camry and its not as big as the pics make it look. Not really impressed.
