MotorWeek gets behind the wheel of the 2011 SLP ZL585 Camaro and seems to enjoy it. Car starts at 56k. More info on the SLP ZL585 can be found on the SLP Camaro site, along with a couple other SLP cars...I want to see a review of the ZL1 they have.

3.6sec 0-60 and 11.5 1/4 is pretty good as well. Makes you think that when the Z28 finally comes if this is basically what it will perform like?

Great for those who love the looks of the new Camaro and don't want to get their hands dirty modifying it.....not so much for those of us DIY'ers. Definitely would rather have a used C6Z, even though used vs. new is an apples to oranges argument IMO (C6Z changes everything
).

Not bad performance wise. Customers who pay for this vehicle will probably be pleased with the set up and won't be bitching about the price because they can actually afford it. Unlike the minions of internet squirrels who can't afford it and still bitch about the price.

nice car. but has there ever been anything from SLP that wasn't overpriced or eventually bettered by aftermarket companies (sarcasm). This is going to be for garage queen car owners, unfortunately.

I like it, but could do without the exh tips(like many others). Performance is good, regardless the price... It seems too high, but this is limited production so it isn't a shock. I figure the upcoming Z/28 won't perform as well, but ya never know till they break it out. If it does perform this well, expect a 52K tag on it, which isn't so good. I kinda expect that price anyway, along with GT500 like performance and wheels more fitting for a standard production version, although still upgraded from SS.
