It will be very dumb of them IMO. It'll be too close to the challenger.
But I'm definitely loving how Chrysler is making SRT cars left and right. Challengers.Chrgers,300,Grand Cherokee, all are great cars and have even fantastic R/T's at 370hp(i think) which is plenty for me, and much improved interior. I' liking there stuff alot!
I wish they would get rid of the stupid avenger and brough back the crossfire srt-6, not enough people knew of how beastly that thing was. That was definitely a keeper. It needed a better interior and manual and it would of been perfect!

i think there would be good sales if they brought it back under dodge. but it better perform on par with it's competitors for the price unlike the current challenger srt-8.

Bringing back the Cuda would be as dumb as bringing back the Firebird, they would only serve to pull sales away from the Challenger and Camaro, respectively. Neither of these OEMs have enough market share to afford the internal competition of such similar models within the same company.

Good points.
Based on those points, here is the absolute finest idea EVER recorded on this topic LOL
....don't simply add the 'cuda to the line up, replace the Challenger with it instead. ![Grin](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_grin.gif)
Breathes new life into the current platform and appeases those who are craving a new 'cuda all without cutting into the sales of an otherwise similar current model.
Similar to the old days, the base/V6 models could be called Barracuda and the V8s can be called 'cuda R/T and 'cuda SRT-8.![Nod](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_nod.gif)
After a few years you bring back the Challenger and repeat the process.
