If I need a more practical car than my Corvette, the 1LE would be my choice.

I can't wait for a good side by side test of the 1le and the boss with a stud driver to really run them hard. Until then I'm impressed by the improvements just not totally convinced it can out run a boss by 4 secs that's HUGE!!! Beat it maybe beat by 4 secs....IDK

The Boss will *easily* win in straight line if the driver can drive. But The 1LE will put up a better fight with better gearing than a regular SS.

On a track, it seems the 1LE has the advantage, but we'll see when journalist will take both car on a matchup same day/driver/track.

GM got it right this time, for really cheap. Thats awesome IMO.

Yeah no doubt the boss is faster straight line and I'm sure the 1le is a beast around the track but 4 seconds is a big f'ing gap to put on a car like the boss.

That is a hilarious remark coming from a Trans Am owner.

The Ford interior actually looks more upscale then the Camaro and Corvette, but then again you would have to have good taste in order to agree with my opinion.

Ummm, what? Have you driven a Ford lately??

Camaro to Mustang is subjective, but really better looking than a Vette?

when does the heavy monster hit the streets? Faster than a LS? lol.


lets see it in stock trim vs stock trim, or modded vs. modded.

It's not like it is the first time chevy fudged a car for track days. (ZL1)...Just to have real owners wondering where the handling and power went.

no brake change? 25 laps at laguna seca? VIR? Road Atlanta? wonder how the brakes will do vs LS Boss. Im betting power to weight matters even on a road course.

what about a track like Mosport with long 170mph straights.

The Trans Am had style during its time for sure. And of course it looks dated now, but Ford tried way too damn hard to go retro this time around, 05+ interiors just look horrible.

Yes, matter of fact I just test drove a 2013 Mustang GT with Recaro seats this past weekend, and yes the interior is nicer than the Camaro and the Corvette.

Wow, alright then different strokes for different folks. Can't think you paid much attention to anything other than the center stack with this opinion though.

I guess we will agree to disagree, although I don't think you'll find to many on this site who think the Rustang has a nicer interior than a Vette.

The Boss brakes are good, but they are not known to best in the market. For exemple, the ZL1brakes have a better feeling...

the boss brakes get tracked with different pads and brake fluid on a constant basis.
