But they are caprice taillights bro except not as tall, or as rounded, or as red, or the same shape.. I think they might both be plastic though!

I didn't mention anything about a 4th gen Camaro, but since you brought it up, sure, I think they are cleaner/more original looking cars when compared to 5th gens. With that said though, I really do like the Z28 and even the current ZL1/1LE, but I have to say the 5th gen SS's/V6 cars do nothing for me, very plain and boring.

1969 camaro tail lamps which was donated to the 1995 caprice which was recycled into the 2014 z28.

You are not alone the 5th Gen is old and stale.

This car needs 500-800 lbs worth of liposuction as well as a botox shot in the hood and rear tail lamp sections.

4th Gen was the best and fastest ever!

First thing I thought of was the Honda Prelude when looking at those tail lights. Not saying it's a bad thing or that it doesn't work for the vehicle, it's grown on me, but that car is the first thing that came to mind.

The 4th gens are as bland as they come, the only reason I owned them is for cheap performance.

Quit feeding the troll guys.

Looks like there's no reason to buy a ZL1 anymore. Personally I hope they offer it with a stereo as an option. I know it's supposed to be a stripped car and all but a minimalist stereo option could be offered. Maybe something with a few speakers, not 15. I doub't it'd weigh all that much. I'm probably in the minority in this crowd but I want something to listen to every now and then.

Having said that, I would still get a used c6z over this any day. But it's good to see GM putting something like this out.

I like this one more than most(the ZL1 is still best overall), but it still has the cheesy looking interior of old and lacks outward visibility in most directions. That in mind, I still prefer Corvette, specifically the ZO6. Something tells me this Z/28 will be priced like a Corvette, albeit not a ZO6. Sadly, thousands more will want one than can afford to purchase one.

The real question is how many are they planning to produce? That will give us a much better picture of how this beast will get priced. If it's less than 4K units...invest in some good **** lube. I know the ZL-1 is the intended top dog, but I wouldn't count on GM giving that LS7 away.

I'm guessing $45K at minimum.....but upper 40's or lower 50's seems more probable. Besides, it's looking like this car will be faster than the ZL-1..well...just about everywhere if you ask me. So I wouldn't count on the ZL-1's pricing as a ceiling limit for the pricing on this one.

It's a shame, isn't it...how all the most desirable musclecar trim models are demanding 45-60K from your pocketbook these days.

I highly doubt the Z28 will be faster then the ZL1. The Z28 weigh 300 lbs. less but it also makes 80 hp less then the ZL1. I would expect it to be priced at 45k-50K, just under the ZL1.

I read one speaker only with a radio; they apparently stripped all the unnecessary wiring from the harness as well for weight reduction.

Why you want me banned so badly? I've only stated my personal opinion.

Stop bleeding over a voiced opinion. Jeez it's not that serious.

And I stick to my original statement those are 1979 Chevy Caprice and 1995 Chevy Caprice TAIL LAMPS. I don't care if the origins is 1969 camaro...those are CAPRICE TAIL LAMPS

Lol plp really need to read more on the cat..so much bs here!!

It will destroy a zl1 (faster by 3seconds on a road course, said gm), it will cost more (as stated by gm) and easily in the 60k range. 40k?!!! LOLLLLLLLLLLL

...1 speaker and no sound system in the car FYI.

: Purchase ZL1

Buy the 2014 Z28 wheels and tires

And one could even change the rotors to Ceramic

And its still cheaper than buying the 2014 Z28.

Plus have all the comforts of a normal car with more power as well. A simple pulley swap of the supercharger will over come that WEIGHT!

So if you don't care that the 1979 Caprice 1995 Caprice have the same style lights as a 1969 Camaro, they are Caprice tails...why don't you use the same logic here?

If we just replace a few words we would come up with "And I stick to my original statement those are 2014 Camaro TAIL LAMPS. I don't care if the origins is 1979/1995 Caprice...those are CAMARO TAIL LAMPS "

Why does the same logic apply in one instance and not the other? You say you don't care about the origins of the Caprice tails, yet you despise the new camaro because of the origins of its tails.

Oh...right, you're just trolling, troll.

I can tell you hated doing home work from your poor comprehension ability. I don't despise the entire car just the TAIL LAMPS. And the 1995 caprice tail lamps wrapped around the back just like the new z28. So stop trolling and changing sentences to achieve child level logic.

After you hit 200mph go and get yourself an education mr.justin

And don't ever argue with someone about their opinion. You're welcome.
