Bear in mind that those are not official photos and could just be a good photochop. I guess we'll find out for sure once the NAIAS starts in January.

The black version is SICK, I wouldn't want to even be in the same area code with a car looking that mean from the factory. Now if all the specs on top are correct that is one bad momma. But as is said before, only time (January to be exact) will tell.

I thought I read somewhere that they didn't want to stray too far away from the last Z06 pricing, so I'm guessing it'll be somewhere in the $55K range.

Serriously though, I'm willing to bet the Z06 will increase a bit in price. The reason I say that is the new Z51 option is almost as much of a step up (performance wise) over the base car as the Z06 was (minus the HP increase). That leads me to think that GM wanted the Z51 to bridge the price gap between the base an a higher price Z06....that's my Swag.... no basis in fact of course .

I might be imagining things, but when I looked at the Spy Shots of the Z, the front air opening looked much larger than whats shown here.
That is very similiar to the C6 with a tiny hood scoop, when only looking at the front fascia area
