Default KSport Coilovers Group Buy Interest

Would there be any interest in a KSport Coilover Group Buy? I've found a vendor with a non-group buy price of around $875 which that alone is
cheaper than I've seen anywhere else online.

Here's the description on KSport's website:
http://www.ksportusa.com/asp/coilove...roduct_id=cd01

There isn't a lot of info around regarding the V application. I've read over these threads:
http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums...sed-today.html (New Coil Over Kit Released Today!!!!!)
http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums...oil-overs.html (k-sport coil overs......)

But the info seems dated as the springs for the KSport kit now list at 560 lbs/in in both the front and the rear as opposed to the 460 lbs/in they used to be. Also, I'm told that you can order different rate springs:
http://www.ksportusa.com/asp/replace...roduct_id=rp24

I'm not quite sure on the metric to standard conversion there though.

Has anyone else had any experience with this set-up or any new thoughts? I know a lot of people have been really happy with KSport on other applications and they sound pretty adjustable. I plan to track my car more in the future, so I'm looking for a handling improvement as well as being able to lower the car. Not to mention a sub $900 price for shocks and springs sounds pretty good. Not to mention, I'm sure with over 85k miles, my FE4s could use a replacing...

Here's the links again:

http://www.ksportusa.com/asp/replace...roduct_id=rp24

But yeah, doesn't seem to really be any interest in a group buy. Hit up JNZ Tuning for the best price I've seen though: http://jnztuning.net/shop/catalog/
There isn't any CTS-V stuff on the site, but they quoted me $875 shipped.

V1 cars do not have magnetic shocks as you stated. They run a Sachs mono tube design. As far as pricey goes, factory replacement shocks will run you around $1000.

then i dont understand why people have to space up the rear shock position in the body to keep it from leveling the car back? what is that then?

The shocks self-adjust to maintain a consistent ride height regardless of how much weight is in the car. Here is a good example of what happens when you put eibachs on your car without doing the rear shock spacer mod:

And this guy claims that he likes it better this way.

The stock rear shocks keep the shock at a consistent extended length via internal pump (I believe), this then makes the car at the same ride height. You can read about the Nivomats (rear shocks) on Cadillac FAQ. Unless you move one of the shocks reference points, upper or lower, the car will not lower.
