Planning Ahead...
I tend to plan extremely far in advance. ( I have yet to own a cts-v, but I’m researching diligently on mods of all sorts to get my fix ). I have been reading and reading and reading through all the threads and posts here, mentally building my cts-v that I will buy here within the next few months. ( looking for the perfect "V" )
I have come across some of the most beautiful and extensively modded V's in this forum. With many options of forced induction and heavily bored and stroked motors with great head jobs. With that in mind, I have decided to go the Super Charger route.
Although, I have yet to find good information on a stock motor with just a SC. Does anyone know of any limitations to either the LS2 or LS6 when it comes to the stock block/heads receiving forced air via SC? I have been looking extensively at the Intercooled SC from MagnaCharger for the 04-05's.
I do realize the differential issues with this year model and expect a quick change via service bulletins if it hasn't already been complied with.
On the exhaust side, are the stock manifolds sufficient for getting the extra air out with hi-flow cats and custom exhaust cat-back?
Other mods in mind:
Katech short throw with upgraded UUC bushings, BMR anti-wheel hop kit, and a few other cosmetic mods. And then... a "V" series banner for the garage!
Futures: Long Tube Headers, performance clutch and whatever else the heavy foot desires!

From what I see I think most maggie V's with the maggie tune make near 425-450 to the tire and more with a custom tune instead of the maggie tune.
Once you go maggie the car could really use a set of headers to help it stretch its legs.

head gaskets are fine.
you'll want to go one step colder on the plugs (TR6) and a bit tighter gap .32-.36
the maggie comes with 42# injectors pre-installed on new fuel rails.

injectors: i just read that in the installation manual. from reading up on the GMHTP article for Vinnies V.. seems pretty basic. Does anyone know how "mild" or "hot" the magnacharger tune is?

The magnacharger tune is very mild. The one they gave me was actually really really f-d up. Others have had better results, but I had it re-tuned and the tuner said it was running at 8.5 degrees of timing and a full point rich!
