Default Where to buy Ballast?

I've narrowed my headlight situation. Is ebay the cheapest place to get one of these? It seems they're about 200 bucks there, but the dealer wants $419 for one.

btw, you can access it from the bottom of the car.

are failing ballasts the cause of the occasional headlight flickering? I've had a bit of that recently.

No flickering before going out.

I got mine used off ebay for $100.

You have to take the headlight completely out in order to get to it. Remove bumper etc...

I wanted to verify if I needed the 4 pin or the 12 pin ballast, so I just accessed it from the bottom. Granted this was the driverside, passenger side might be different.

I'll beat the heck out of the dealer's price, and it's still new, GM, and from a dealer
