Default Stability System Questions

Can someone explain to me why my stability system engages during straigline accelleration. I'll line up to do a 3rd gear pull and roll into the throttle but once I'm at WOT near 5k rpms the car feels really light and sorta wiggles, then I get the warning on the screen letting me know the Stability System has kicked in. I usually put it in Comp. Driving mode for the pulls so the TC system doesn't engage. Is there anything I can do to make the stability system less sensitive. Feels like I have complete control of the car until it kicks in then it gets twitchy.

Making about 500 to the rear wheel. Thanks.

It kicks on any time you have traction loss... You could just disarm it?

How do I disengage the Stability System? Comp mode only disables TC, correct?

Yea, I'm having this problem A LOT more than I guess I made it sound. Good times.

Hold down the T/C button for about 2 or 3 seconds! You will then see a circle with T/C in it and a line going threw the circle! This will show you that you have disingaged T/C!

p.s. sorry for the spelling, Im not the best!

Ok, that's what I'm doing, but the stability system is kicking in w/ Traction control off.

1 press of the T/C button will get you the no T/C light on the cluster. 1 more press within 5 seconds or so will get you into comp mode. From either condition you can press and hold the T/C button for around 8-10 seconds and you will get a message on the nav saying stability control has been disabled.

It will if you get sideways unless the entire system is off.

I noticed from a dig, i get better launches with traction off but still leaving the stability control on..

But then agian I have crappy tires right now so maybe i just cant handle both being off.

Anyone leave the stability on ?

Ok, I wasn't holding the button down long enough. Been out driving it since. That thing was nagging me in the corners and on the straights.

Can you maggied guys get a 5th gear chirp when hard shifting? I just started to get 3rd gear spinning for about 1 1/2 to 2 seconds and 4th gear chirps (Im stock)!! Im pumped because that means that Im starting to time my shifting better now since I've had it for a few weeks!!!

I got the stability system to kick in yesterday on a shift into 5th (not fast, but not slow) when I rolled into the throttle pretty hard. Not sure if I'd call it a chirp, but it definitely kicked in.

Edit: I'm on 19" CCWs though so that could be a factor.
